Under What Circumstances Do We Collect Your Personal Information?

With these Privacy Notices we would like to inform you about the personal data that we process, the purposes for which we process such data and about your rights in this respect.

II. PURPOSES FOR PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING

BDO Bulgaria OOD shall process your data of individuals for one or more of the following purposes:

In those cases when processing is based on a consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. It shall be noted that this will not affect the validity of the processing prior to the withdrawal of consent.

In the event that you assume that BDO Bulgaria OOD violates your legal rights regarding the collecting, processing and storage of the provided personal data, you may contact the Personal Data Protection Commission or the competent courts as you have a right to file a complaint in which you can submit your complaints.

4.1. Privacy Notices for Employees

BDO Bulgaria OOD processes its employees’ (current and former) personal data in its capacity of employer and as described herein below.

As a result of the video surveillance process undertaken in the office of BDO Bulgaria OOD, located in the city of Sofia, employees’ data related to their social and cultural identity, as well as such revealing racial and ethnic origin might be processed. The above-mentioned data categories are not collected intentionally by BDO Bulgaria but only in the event that the data subjects fall within the scope of the cameras used on the territory of the office whose purpose is to provide access control to the office, as well as security, and protection of the property of BDO Bulgaria.

Your health status data are sensitive data which we process only when it’s legally required, in order to protect the vital interests of the data subject or of another natural person or when the data subject has given his/ her consent, also in the event that the processing is required for the purposes of fulfilling of obligations and/or for the execution of rights of BDO Bulgaria LTD under the labor legislation and/or social security legislation and for the purposes of the preventive or occupational medicine.

In the event that you do not provide us with the required information, including with the necessary personal data, no labor contract could be concluded between BDO Bulgaria OOD and you, and BDO Bulgaria OOD would not be able to fulfill its legal and contractual obligations resulting from its capacity of an employer.

In your capacity of BDO Bulgaria OOD’s employee we shall process your data for one or more of the the purposes stated in section II above only if there is a legal ground for that.

BDO Bulgaria OOD has the right to disclose your personal data only to:

  • Its employees, whose professional obligations require processing of personal data on our behalf;
  • Public bodies when it’s legally required or for the purposes of our legitimate interests;

4.2. Privacy Notices for Job Applicants

BDO Bulgaria OOD processes job applicants’ personal data within recruitment procedures and as described herein below.

 The personal data of the job applicants that we process include: name, surname and family name, data of birth, address, economical identity data (if necessary), education, professional and other qualifications and skills, marital status and family relations (if necessary), contact data (telephone and email), photo, possibility for travelling in the country and abroad (if necessary), other data provided by the applicant.

As a result of the video surveillance process undertaken in the office of BDO Bulgaria OOD, located in the city of Sofia, job applicants’ data related to their social and cultural identity, as well as such revealing racial and ethnic origin might be processed. The above-mentioned data categories are not collected intentionally by BDO Bulgaria and only in the event that the data subjects fall within the scope of the cameras used on the territory of the office whose purpose is to provide access control to the office, as well as security, and protection of the property of BDO Bulgaria.

In the event that you do not provide us with the information requested, including your personal data which is limited to that required for these purposes it will be an obstacle for you to be included in the recruitment procedure and it will negatively affect your chances of being selected for the applied position.

In your capacity of job’s applicant, BDO Bulgaria OOD shall process your data For completion of the recruitment procedure under which you are applying or for one or more of the purposes stated in section II above only if there is a legal ground for that.

BDO Bulgaria OOD stores personal data of unsuccessful applicants for no longer than 6 (six) months after your data was collected..

BDO Bulgaria OOD has the right to disclose your personal data only to:

  • Its employees, whose professional obligations require processing of personal data on our behalf;
  • Public bodies when it’s legally required or for the purposes of our legitimate interests;

You shall be informed that we shall not disclose your data to other external organizations, companies and/or individuals except for the ones described herein above or only when it is legally required or you have given your consent in advance.

4.3. Privacy Notices for Clients and Contracting Parties

BDO Bulgaria OOD processes its clients and contracting parties’ personal data in order to perform its contractual obligations and as described herein below.

The personal data of clients and contracting parties – individuals and/or employees and representatives of legal entities, which we process are: name, surname, family name, EGN/data of birth or another identifier, address, ID documents data, professional activity, professional and other qualifications, nationality (if necessary), contact data (telephone, email), bank account.

As a result of the video surveillance process undertaken in the office of BDO Bulgaria OOD, located in the city of Sofia, clients and contracting parties’ data related to their social and cultural identity, as well as such revealing racial and ethnic origin, might be processed. The above-mentioned data categories are not collected intentionally by BDO Bulgaria and only in the event that the data subjects fall within the scope of the cameras used on the territory of the office whose purpose is to provide access control to the office, as well as security, and protection of the property of BDO Bulgaria.

The provision of these data by you is voluntary and in the same time essential in order a contract between you and BDO Bulgaria OOD to be concluded. In this respect, we inform you that we could fulfill our contractual obligation only if we are provided with the respective information. In the event that you are not willing to provide your personal data, we inform you that no contract could be concluded between BDO Bulgaria OOD and you.

In your capacity of a client and/ or contracting party, BDO Bulgaria OOD shall process your data for one or more of the purposes stated in section II above only if there is a legal ground for that.

BDO Bulgaria OOD has the right to disclose your personal data only to:

  • Its employees, whose professional obligations require processing of personal data on our behalf;
  • Public bodies when it’s legally required or for the purposes of our legitimate interests;
  • Companies providing video surveillance services, suppliers of IT, legal, banking, courier and other services for the fulfillment of contractual or legal obligations, as well as for the safeguard of the legitimate interest.

You shall be informed that we shall not disclose your data to other external organizations, companies and/ or individuals except for the ones described herein above or only when it is legally required or you have given your consent in advance.

4.4. Privacy Notices for Visitors

As a result of the video surveillance process undertaken in the office of BDO Bulgaria OOD, located in the city of Sofia, it is possible that BDO processes personal data of visitors – individuals and/or individuals – employees and representatives of companies, regarding their gender, social and cultural identity, as well as data revealing racial and ethnical origin. The above-mentioned data categories are not collected intentionally by BDO Bulgaria and only in the event that the data subjects fall within the scope of the cameras used on the territory of the office whose purpose is to provide access control to the office, as well as security, and protection of the property of BDO Bulgaria.

The provision of these data by you is voluntary and in the same time essential in order to visit the office of BDO Bulgaria. In the event that you are not willing to provide your personal data, we inform you that you will not be granted access to the office of BDO Bulgaria.

In your capacity of a visitor, BDO Bulgaria LTD shall process your data for one or more of the purposes stated in section II above only if there is a legal ground for that.

The personal data that you have provided will be stored for a period not longer than 1 (one) year as of the year following the year when your data were collected. We shall not store your data for a period longer than the period required for the processing purpose. We store your data following the legally defined periods as well as considering the volume, specifics and sensitivity of the data, the processing purposes and whether we could complete them with different means.

4.5. Privacy Notices Regarding Persons That Have Used the Contact Form on the Website of BDO Bulgaria OOD

BDO Bulgaria OOD processes personal data of the persons that have used the contact form provided on BDO Bulgaria’s website (www.bdo.bg) when receiving a request, message or another statement communicated through the contact form and in compliance with its legal obligations and the present Notices.

The personal data of the persons that have used the contact form that BDO Bulgaria OOD processes are: names, contact data (e-mail, telephone number), organization (if necessary), content of the request/the message or any other statement.

The provision of these data by you is voluntary and in the same time essential in order to use the functions of the contact form. In this respect, we inform you that you could use the functions of the contact form and respectively BDO Bulgaria could respond to the request only if you have provided these data. V. CHANGES OF THE PRIVACY NOTICES

These Notices of BDO Bulgaria OOD are effective as of 25 May 2018, they could be revised periodically for which you will be notified in due time through an e-mail or in another appropriate way.
